1373 Lines of Missing Emails from Circa 1999
museum/missingemails1999FUWmuseum.jpg

To our great fortune, Owen (who used to run the old-old web site) found the historical email chain going around in late 1999. This was right about the time of FUW Fallout and December To Dismember Part 2.  This must have also been a few months before Microsoft invented spell check.

Conversation: new FUW mailing list

all new group e-mails should be made off of this new list.
for those of you new to the list, welcome.
this is where all of FUW is allowed to discuss anything on their minds and
ask any questions they have.  you can talk booking, matches, and wrestling in
general here.  this is so our fans don't have to see all the messy shit that
goes on behind the scenes.  feel free to discuss angles and booking from a
"mark" perspective on the FUW Online Forum, this mailing list is for our
"smart" shit yo!

Now that we actually have a show, (and I know I've said this before), I'll be
burning
FUW: The Music, Volume 3, next week.  To set the record straight, since there
has been
some confusion...

I have been given music for: Creation #4, Dre, and Zero.
I have yet to get music from: Priscilla Presson, Honky Tonk Rob, The Altar
Boy, Entropy.
As for Hardcore Badass and the Dead Reverend: I don't have your CD's.  I was
in Hawaii
when you brought them in.  I've checked with Mike, Josh, and Jon, and none of
them
know where your CD's are.  This sucks, I know.  If we can't track down the
CD's, at
least let me know what song you want, and I'll try to track it down before
burning a CD.

Oh, and the people listed above are just those people who told me they wanted
new
music.  If you don't have a song or want to change music, go ahead.  Just,
everybody,
get your music to me by Monday.

Date: Friday, November 5, 1999 6:20 PM
From:
The W.B.

Conversation: Some interesting ideas

Introspection can be a beautiful thing.

NAME: Brett The W.B.

SEX: Male/Yes

LIVING ARRANGEMENT: At the moment single a dorm room, next summer onward it
will be apartment 4 life!

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT OUIJA BOARDS? I own one and I think I've played with
it once.  I have a keychain one too, now that I think about it.  I've never
experienced anything other than giddiness rapidly followed by intense boredom
and soulcrushing disappointment.

YOUR FAVORITE TV SHOW?  Man... my theatre filled schedule allows for very
little TV time, but I try to squeeze in my favs like Simpsons, XFiles, MTV
and DBZ.

WHAT'S ON YOUR MOUSE PAD?  Cigarette ashes, cords, a disk, a mouse and food
crumbs.

FAVORITE BOARD GAME:  damn... I play so seldom.  I'm a big fan of Candyland
and Monopoly.

FAVORITE MAGAZINE: I'm down with Time, E Weekly and many fine mags put out by
oni press.

WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD:  That moment (which is varying in length) between
doing something horrible or stupid or insensitive and coming to terms with
it.  It's a form of helplessness I think.

FAVORITE SMELLS:  Autumn, camp fires, the coming rain, downy freshness

BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD:  A hug.  It's universally expresive and unique for
each person you encounter.

FAVORITE SOUNDTRACK: Braveheart.  You feel it from head to groin and beyond.
It's beautiful.  Baz Luhrman's Romeo and Juliet has a nice feel to it too.
And of course, Pet Shop Boys Alternative is more often than not the prefered
soundtrack to my life.

WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU WAKE IN THE MORNING?:  "Will
ten more minutes allow me to get all I have shirked done before class?"

DO YOU GET MOTION SICKNESS?: Nay.  Though warmth in a moving vehicle makes me
less than happy.

ROLLER COASTERS -- EXCITING OR SCARY:  Excitingly fearsome!  There's nothing
like not believing you're really safe and not caring you're having fun.  You
know, roller coasters are a lot like li- *bang* ow...

PEN OR PENCIL?:  Pen!  PERMANANCY PERMANANCY PERMANANCY!  Pencils are for
those who expect to make mistakes and cannot recitfy them or don't like
wasting paper.

HOW MANY RINGS BEFORE YOU ANSWER THE PHONE?:  expecting a call: 1 not
expecting: 2ish

FUTURE SONS NAME:  I seriously have given so little thought to this subject.
The only one that pops into my head is Connor.  I don't know why.  The only
Connor I knew was a slightly frightening adolescent who rumoredly gave his
dog a hand job.

FUTURE DAUGHTER'S NAME:  Same as above, but perhaps... something that starts
with an A?  I don't toy with names much because children are not a very sure
part of future at all.

FAVORITE FOODS: EVERYTHING!  I seriously will eat just about anything if it's
semi-well prepared.  Forced to choose, I like things that I don't get very
often (Greek food, shite like that).

DO YOU GET ALONG WITH YOUR PARENTS:  Yes.  They give me my independence now
that I'm out of the house and I let them know the areas of my life that they
can handle and are any of their business (and some that aren't, but that just
gets messy).

CHOCOLATE OR VANILLA?: Chocolate

FAVORITE ICE CREAM: Ben and Jerry's Chubby Hubby.... mmmm...

CROUTONS OR  BACON BITS: Croutons all the way.  They come in an intense
variety, offer more flavor and a much for pleasing texture.

DO YOU LIKE TO DRIVE?:  When I can calm my nerves, kinda.  I've been a
careless driver and that psyches me out sometimes.  If there are no other
cars around or I can take my mind off thinking I'm going to slay all who dare
ride with me, then it's ait.

DO YOU SLEEP WITH STUFFED ANIMALS?: No.  I have yet to find one that beguiles
me enought to take it to bed with me.

STORMS - COOL OR SCARY:  Cool!  There is nothing like a storm to rouse me
from my industrial hard working slumber and realize that I should get outside
more often and observe and experience life more.  They're truly awesome
events.  I wish we had more.

WHAT TYPE WAS YOUR FIRST CAR: 1987 Dodge Colt.  It was silver.  I beat the
shit out of it by running a stop sign.  After that, it just wasn't the same
care.  The life was seeping from it.

IF YOU COULD MEET ONE PERSON, DEAD OR ALIVE, WHO WOULD IT BE?:  God.  What
the fuck man?  It would be a nice simple conversation.  I don't want answers,
just some observations... and maybe some ambrosia.

FAVORITE ALCOHOLIC DRINK:  HA HA HA HA HA! sigh... umm, YES!  All in all, I
think I have a sentimental attachment to the good Captain Morgan in whatever
incarnation he do be in.

WHAT IS YOUR ZODIAC SIGN?:  Gemini.  I act much akin to the behavior typical
of my sign on many occasions.  Spooky.

WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE POET?:  Barbie Dockstader, for her friendship, support,
knowledge and everything else she gave to me.  I love this woman.  Now she's
in North Carolina and she never calls or writes :(

DO YOU EAT THE STEMS OF BROCCOLI?:  Cooked, oh hell yeah!  Raw, it's a
tougher call.  I'm not real down with raw broccoli without exhorbent amounts
of dip.

GUYS -- IF A GIRL ASKED FOR THE SHIRT OFF YOUR BACK, WOULD YOU GIVE IT?
Yes, depending, of course on the girl, but being a fairly congenial human
being I wouldn't mind, especially if she needed it and didn't just want to
have something that was mine for whatever purpose.

IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY JOB YOU WANTED, WHAT WOULD IT BE?:  Creative Artist

IF YOU COULD DYE YOUR HAIR ANY COLOR, WHAT WOULD IT BE?:  Red... White?

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN LOVE?: Yes, a couple times.  It's different every time.

WHAT IS ON YOUR WALLS IN YOUR ROOM?:  Albert Einstein, Dali, shelves, awards,
a mirror, art, FUW, the Katie Butler Fan Club Newsletter... pleasing things

IS THE GLASS HALF EMPTY OR HALF FULL?:  Half full, and will soon empty it.  I
can't let a half full glass sit there, I ALWAYS have to drink the whole think
unless my tummy is too full.  It's odd.

WHAT IS FAVORITE SNAPPLE?:  I don't drink snapple, but I used to like
Raspberry Iced Tea.

FAVORITE MOVIE(S)?:  The Bicycle Thief, La Strata, A Clockwork Orange, Glory,
Braveheart, The Breakfast Club, Aliens, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, The
Matrix, The Sixth Sense, Bringing Out the Dead and others

ARE YOU A LEFTY, RIGHTY OR AMBIDEXTROUS?: Alrighty

DO YOU TYPE WITH YOUR FINGERS ON THE RIGHT KEYS? : Yes, when I'm not drunk or
just plain confused.

IF YOU COULD BE ONE GARDENING TOOL, WHAT WOULD YOU BE?: That small three
pronged rake type thing used to paw through dirt.  I like the way it looks
and I relate to its hook like nature somehow.  Also, I don't know what it's
really supposed to be used for.

WHAT'S UNDER YOUR BED?: a minifridge, my CDs, assorted boxes, my comic book
colletion, my school books, a carton of cigarettes and lots of other random
shite.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE NUMBER?: 7 and 21 have always been favorites of mine
for no real reasons.  Aesthetically they just look pretty, particularly 7.
23 is quite alright with me too.

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM CAR?: One that makes me experience the ride as if I were
walking.

FAVORITE SPORT TO WATCH: Wrestling/4 square.  Square it up man.  It's the
best sport I've ever seen live.

SAY ONE NICE THING ABOUT THE PERSON(S) WHO SENT THIS TO YOU: Hillary is a
beautifully real and open human being who nudges me in directions I wouldn't
normally go on my own.

PERSON YOU SENT THIS TO WHO IS LEAST LIKELY TO RESPOND: Mark Hackman, because
he does not want to share his life with me (not that there's anything wrong
with that).

Here's what you're supposed to do.  Copy (not forward) this
entire e-mail and paste it onto a new e-mail that you will send.
Change all of the answers so that they apply to you.
Then, send this to a whole bunch of people you know INCLUDING the
person who sent it to you.  The theory is that you will learn a lot of
little known facts about your friends.  Remember to send yours back to the
person
who sent it to you.

Trust me, the crowd fucking sucked for the most part.  Brett and Ogre
and I were out there; for most of the whole show, the only people making
any noise were the three retards off to the side.
Here.  Prime example.  The BIGGEST pop in the triple tag team match was
Little Bitch getting beaten up.  The crowd was dead. Sim-pul as that.
Hipefully, though, HOPEFULLY, WHATVER, Stu is right and we won over a
few people.

Dre, tell your friends to have a little respect next time(if those were

I totally agree with Jon.  The crowd was pretty damn lame at this show and
the second biggest pop of the night, next to Kurt getting beaten up, was
probably Jaqui and Anne cat fighting outside of the ring.

But I don't know if the crowd is totally to blame for the reaction at the
show.  We were a bit rusty at the start and things were very inconsistent
and hectic.  In other words, I think that we did a absolutely terrible job
of grabbing the audience's attention from the start.  Things were all over
the place for the longest time, and only after the Dead Reverend's match did
things start to solidify.  I believe that the second half of the event was
totally up to our finest standards.  If only the show were more consistent,
then I think that the audience would have probably been more receptive.

That paragraph probably could have been condensed into 1 or 2 sentences, but
it's 4:13am right now and my brain is fried... zzzzzz

Conversation: pow! wham! zow!

last night was great.

i don't think anyone has anything they should be
ashamed of with the exception of watching Dusty Rhodes
getting dressed. But Mike i have to know...Have you
been working out?

seriously though everyone did a great job consider the
amount of ringrust we've all had time to develop.

i think the response we got was very positive. i
talked to a lot of people all of whom said they were
very impressed with the show.

i do agree with mike though there is something we need
to do to get the fans excited early on....so my
suggestion is have little bitch get stomped to open
the show, and anythime the show starts to fizzle
repeat the process.

as far as the crowd goes, i have mixed feelings about
it. i know when i was out there i felt as though the
crowd was really getting into it and i thought that
carried throughout the show, but some people in back
were saying that the crowd was dead. true and the
beginning of the show it seemed like the commentators
were begging for a reaction but once the first match
started i thought it got going.

perhaps we just need to work the crowd a little more.
now i know we can't all have the suave and style of
the angel and mark andrews but lets face it who really
does have more style....entropy that's who.. i say
have entropy start the december show with him gettin'
down at ringside with a few busty gals.

yes more dance choreography, that's the ticket!!!

one complaint i did hear was that there were too many
promos.  i agree to some extent. i know promos are
needed to more storyline and i know that we do need to
move storyline, but i think we should find a better
route that would be more useful for the live show
audience because people started to lose interest when
everybody had to cut a promo before their match.
on thursday mad dawg and i discussed the possibility
of doing some type of vinette promo, i know at the
march show it seemed to work well. and perhaps utilize
the commentators ability to put over angles more.  i
mean vjt, wb, and the former sherlock holmes hat
wearing rb always do a great job of putting stuff over
and so why not have them do more of that.  i liked the
programs too.  badass didn't even have to mention the
stip to our match and i didn't have to do a promo and
everybody there was able to know what our storyline
was, just based on the commentary and a few lines on
paper.

so just a few ideas we can discuss on monday.
i have a list of stuff i think we should discuss but i
just realized that i've been rambling like a drunken
prom date and so i will now stop to breath

again great fucking show to everyone and i especially
loved the support everyone was giving backstage. i
think that is what will make us work for better shows.
because i knew as soon as i came backstage after my
match and everybody was saying great match that it
didn't even matter what the crowd thought at that
point.

last and most definitely not least big thanks to
carlson for allowing me to actually use a weapon i
brought in and taking a great table spot if i ever saw
one. make no mistake about it you're hardcore in my
book

trying to find another way of getting dropped on a

of tehre in a respectable and orderly fashion after a free show, as opposed
to never really getting everything after Death March in the same space.
That was really a class act, guys.  Mega-props to Mike Phillips for setting
up everything and house design, to Brett Cottone for his work with me on
the entrance, to John Hooker for providing us with sound, and to Tim and
John for looking like actual bouncers as well as their work.  Like I said,
all in all a great night tech-wise.
As far as teh show, I haven't been able to see most of it.  But what
little I saw was really excellent wrestling-wise.  The hard work we have
been putting in shows.  I wanted to give my thanks to everyone involved in
the tag match.  WE all had our minds and bodies in there full time, and it
is something I personally am very proud of.  It was an honor to  be in that
match with you guys, and I look forward to wrestling any of the
participants again. On a side not, I loved the hard-ass character that Matt
acquired at this show..develop that some more and Creation#4 will become
even more intriguing and cool than you already are.
As far as the crowd....I have a little different spin on this than you
guys might.  That was not any sort of work, my grandpa really did die on
thursday night, and I felt like mentioning it.  I think this would have
worked for the crowds we have had in the past, but this one was different.
As much as my interview sucked for me, it made me know what to do when it
came time for my match.  I guess that's what's important.  As far as what
we have had, this crowd blew.  I think some people that might have been
good fans were put off by the idiots there, and weren't keyed into good
crowd form by the lack of a lot of our usually great fan base.  While
having them be impossible tio warm up sucks, it did go worse than that.  I
felt that during my interview some of those people in the crowd were trying
to start something with me, which is unacceptable. A lot of guys in the
back said that wrestling fans suck, but these weren't wrestling
fans...these guys were just shitheads who don't know anything about decorum
or how to control themselves.  But...I feel that we can improve the way we
set up the show to maybe make the crowd a little more OK, even if there are
some bad seeds.  That's my whole opinion.
Other notes of stuff I saw: the pieces of the main I saw looked really
good, and I am happy with you guys.  I have worked with both of you in some
capacity, and this was good work.  Mike's Dusty rhodes was priceless.
Owen's interview at the end of the show was wonderful--if we had promos
like htat before and after every match, we could still keep heat.  And even
though I wasn't happy with the crowd, we do this for us, and I have gotta
give props to all of you and thank you for your support as well.  In short,
that was a great fucking show and I can't wait for the next.  See you on
Monday.

Yeah, I will really agree with that, at least for the most part.  And the
part I do not agree with is rather obvious, the Crypt Full of Zombies.
Since it was supposed to be a joke match, it made perfect sense that it
did not look crisp, but at the same time, having the Crypt just before the
four-way drunken dance gave more of a feel of ludicrousness to the show
than we probably should have given it.  Putting another match inbetween
those two probably would have helped a lot.

As would have bringing out Hogan later in the match!  C'mon, everybody
knows & loves Hogan!  Just imagine, Hogan comes out last, beats everyone
down, and then still fails miserably to beat the unstoppable Dead
Reverend!

Of course, then, I think the interview afterwards went longer than the
match, but maybe it was just because I was in the back.

Well, now, clearly, this is a fantastic idea.  After all, I am not sure
how many of you saw it, but when I walked past the front row of the crowd
on my way to the ring for my match, I stopped and screamed at some random
girl, who screamed in absolute terror.  Clearly, women love me, and we
must exploit this to its greatest extent in the future.  If any busty gals
are found, be sure to ship them my way.

Yeah, I agree completely.  That is why, as you all probably noticed (or
not), Segment #8, the Entropy Interview, did not happen, since Jon and I
pretty much agreed me going out and calling him out, no matter how
entertaining it could have been, was not in any way a good idea under
those circumstances, and it would be better just to have him go out and
work the crowd quickly before the match.  And it really did seem to be a
better idea.

Fuck

"So Brett, I hear you're doing a performance in the Studio."

"Yeah" *drags off cigarette*

"What are you doing."

"It's actually FUW, a wrestling show" *drags off cigarette*

"I was talking to Bill Ruyle, I'm in his light class and I was wondering if I
could l do my lighting project on it."

"..."  *cigarette falls from lips, starts dancing a dance of joy.

THAT'S RIGHT FUW, WE WILL HAVE OUR RING LIT BY STAGE LIGHTING, AND HAVE A
LIGHTBOARD OPP BECAUSE JUNE EUBANKS IS THE FUCKING BOMB (Mike, if you're
making another program, give her mad props).

We will more than likely be able to get in there much earlier than 10 pm.  I
will know very soon.

You know Josh, you were right.  But I didn't even have to ask them to light
our ring, they're coming to me!

Hey all,
I realize that there might have been some people upset at me after
my mess at the last show, but please do not feel that I am in any way
soured on the federation now.  My missing the last two meetings
(including the one going on as I write this MOnday night) is due to
personal issues.  It has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO with any of you or
anything.  Not that it really matters.
I also realize that I am not an important part of the federation and
my absebce will not be felt at the next show, but I think I need some
time off to work on things and to straighten out my personal life.  I
am eliminating many extracirricular (sp?) activities for the time
being until I get shit straightened out and I can recover from recent
events in my life.
I would appreciate it if you would not forget me, as I still have a
great interest in the federation.  I am working had at getting better
so I can actually perform in the ring and do the fed and all you
performers right.
I would also be eternally grateful To The W.B. if you could get my
cds at the next meeting, and maybe the Sabu video Zero has for me.  It
is not that I am avoiding meetings, but there is a lot of shit going
down within and around me now.  I hope this does not sound like
whining.
I like Bob's idea for a feud, and I look forward to working with
that in the future.  I also am enjoying the development of charachters
like Point Blank, Thee Anjel, Creation #4 and The Wife Beater.  Things
are looking good and I am proud of all of you.
So Brett, I look forward to talking with you in the near future, and
for everyone else, thank you for your understanding.  If you chose to
let me go or whatever (can a person be let go from a volunteer
organization?) as a result of my absence, I understand as attendance
and dedication were some of the things I was a stickler for in my
plans presented to Glen, Brett and some others about two or three
months ago.  I am not trying to be a hypocrite and hope you do not see
me as such.
Looking forward to watching the December show from the audience and
meeting with PResston soon,

Hello, everybody.

Upon the realization that there will be an FUW show within the next couple
of weeks, which contain some of the most hectic days of my year, I have made
the decision that I will not be performing at the december event.  I
apologize ahead of time for my absense and hope that all of you put on a
great show.  As for my Super Mann character idea, I'm sure that we will be
able to work it in at a later event.  If it is too tough to work the idea in
at event following Decemeber's show, then I will understand.

I talked to the wonderful woman that got us the space for the event and
learned a couple of things that don't really affect us, but we should be
aware of:

* The Snowball dance will be taking place in the building near us, beginning
at 10:30 and going way past when we end.  What the theatre department asks of
us is that we be sure to herd our crowd out the big doors right after the
event so they don't disrupt anything...

* ISU security might be about because of this dance and might peek their
heads in.  I wouldn't be too alarmed, but any drunky fans might be warned
early in the night that they could easily be busted.

* June will only need about half an hour to set up her light shit.  I'm
giving her a copy of the card tomorrow and she'll know basically what's up.
BE REALLY NICE TO HER.  YOU ARE ALL ASSHOLES LIKE ME AND WE ALL HATE WOMEN,
BUT SHE IS DOING US A BIG FAVOR.

like I needed to say that, but seriously we'll probably have a time before or
after the runthrough where she'll show y'all what the lights look like so you
know where to stand to look like a fucking badass.

I can't be at the meeting monday because I'm working on an ISU dance concert
(as is Skitzo and Thee Anjel), so COULD SOMEONE PLEASE PRINT THIS OUT AND
READ IT FOR THOSE WHO AREN'T ON THE LIST AND JUST TO REITTERATE IT.

thanks

I'm looking forward to a great show

Blah blah blah.  Yeah, whatever,Owen.  Sounds like a requiem for a
quitter, if you ask me.  Hey, sorry that I injured you to the point that
you'll never even be allowed NEAR a wrestling ring again, but I guess
that's what happens when old timer jokes like you are let near this, the
greatest sport, and me, its greatest competitor.
All in all, the show was pretty shitty, save for my performance.
Zero?  Fucking pussy.  Anjel?  Mark Andrews?  Tony St. James?  Unweildy,
pathetic screw-ups.  Igor?  Idiot.  You know, all you people need to get
down on your knees, just like your sisters, mothers, and girlfriends
want to, and thank your lucky stars that you have VJT to make your loser
asses look good.  I gave the belt away just so I could have reason to
bash in Juke's bald head in front of all of you suckers.  But everyone
knows that I can go take it back from whoever has it, at whatever time,
no matter what.  January's show will be fine, no doubt, so long as I'm
there to brighten this half-assed "wrestling" association up, and maybe
we'll see an old alliance reformed, as well.  So to all you people
who thought that VJT was getting soft on you, losing his edge... hey,
fuck you.  And to Zero, any time you want to put on that slinky
leopard-skin number... fuck me.

I'll start with the obvious: Great show everybody, one of our best, if not the
best show
we've ever done.  E8, Hastings, and this one are all pretty close in my mind.  I
think the
biggest thanks have to go to Mike Phillips for getting us all very (for us)
organized, and
to The W.B. for getting us the room and the lighting.

On to the show, which, as Owen has said, went really smoothly, and was well put
together.  The opening interview was great, as was the opening match... These
two
segments really set the pace for the entire night, and got the crowd into the
show.
To me, the absolute best segment in FUW history was the post-match stuff with
VJT and Jook; that heel turn was totally unexpected and very well done.  I can't

thank the two of you enough for that... the main problem with booking is that I
never mark out over the suprises.  The the bit with the dew bottle was so
perfect
and cheesy that it was one of my two favorite wrestling spots of the night.

Everybody did an absolutely stellar job out there.  I got to watch almost the
entire
show from ringside, which was a nice change.  It's always slightly disturbing to
see
how over as a face the Wifebeater is...  From a wrestling standpoint, this show
was
great; every match was enthralling and had it's share of cool spots.  I was
watching,
and I couldn't help but think that a little over a year ago, we were in
backyards,
wrestling on matresses.  How far we've come is absolutely mind-boggling.
Getting
to where we are today has been a group effort, and we should all be very proud.

And then, of course, there's Owen.  Owen, it's been great watching you
work, and working with you.  It was a little more than a year ago that Owen dove

off a ladder through FUW's first (broken) table.  Owen became FUW's first tag
team champion that night.  I suppose it's fitting that one year later, Owen
would
dive through his last table to win a much-deserved heavyweight title.  And, with

Owen retiring, the number of FUW Hardcores to have wrestled in every show
drops to two... Big Daddy Stay Puft and Mad Dawg Whichever-Jobber-He-Was.

Ok, I'm rambling, and I need to go.

Conversation: FUW on television!! PLUS MORE

Hello all and welcome back!

First off, let me start by thanking all of you who welcomed me to the
last show at ISU, despite the fact that I was not a part of the
proceedings.  That meant a lot and really showed how you have accepted
me into the group. You all put on a fantastic show and sent Owen out
with an incredible evening.  FUW is so much deeper than a few friends
throwing eachother around.  It is certainly akin to a family.  I am
proud to be a part of that.  So anyway...

This next part is a call for a few things.  FIrst of all... I am
announcing to you all that my friend and I are in the planning process
for a weekly or bi-weekly television show on channel 10 (public
access).  I have already shot a general concept pitch to the station
manager and he said, "I will run this past the owner and might get
back in touch with you."  Well... about fifteen minutes later, he
called me back, giving me Simmons' phone number, saying "Mr. Simmons
would really like to talk to you about this."  SO we are basically in.
The show will be a variety show (of sorts) with lots of sketches,
short films from area film makers, live music performances etc. and
one of the things I would like to include in that list is FUW.  This
is where you come in.
I would like to feature weekly matches from shows of the past, and
once things get underway with our booking again currently, I would
like to do story line summaries, interviews and more.  My hopes are
that the FUW segments of our show could eventually lead into a bi
weekly or monthly FUW television program in itself.  I think it is
very possible and would be a great thing for the fed.  I need your
partcipation though.  I will need "edited" video of matches (sans
cursing) and people willing to be a part of the entire process along
with us.
ALSO for the show in general ,outside of just the FUW parts, we are
looking for some people to help out with things.  Actors, camera
people, writers and location people will all be needed, and I was
hoping a few of you would like to be a part of this.
We are also starting an amateur film production group (actually VIDEO
production) and are needing people for that as well.  The genres will
fun from horror to comedy.  From shorts to features.  Many more people
will be needed for this as well, and being theatrical performers, you
guys seem to fit the bill.  This is looking more towards summer to
start productions though.

PLease let me know if anyone is interested in ANY of this.  This is
very real and WILL be happening soon so responses are important.  I
will NOT be able to attend the meeting this Monday, due to a second
job I now have in addition to my teaching gig.  (I work as a d.j. and
m.c. at Kappa Kabanna, and have been for about five months) so I have
to close this week on MOnday night at 2 a.m.  I DO WANT TO CONTINUE TO
BE A PART OF THE FUW though, whether it be behind the scenes or in the
ring.  I also would like some input as to what capacity I could fill
in this respect.
So... this is a call to most all of you, and I hope to be hearign from
many of you very soon!
Thanks!
